The following is a comment about papers being dropped off.
Understand that papers being dropped off or posted is now the exception, as opposed to the normal.
Please follow these guidelines to ensure the smoothest processing:
- Do not include any cash register receipts or credit/debit card receipts with your papers – Retain these papers at home,
- Remove all staples
- Remove all tax slips and documents from the original envelopes,
- Laid all tax slips and documents flat (not folded), and
- If necessary to fold documents, please fold entire groups of paper as a set rather than individual papers.
The goal is to reduce the amount of handling necessary for your original paperwork. Any additional step increases the risks associated with handling your paperwork.
